I am sorry for not posting more pictures of the progress we've made settling into this new (to us) home. It seems life rushes by so fast and that at times, doing little things, even those that I love and enjoy, often get pushed aside and onto the back shelf of my mind where I tell myself, "I'll get to this later". Well, it is later and though I don't have as much to share with you as I'd like, I'm going to at least share my favorite spot in our living room. I promise to show the rest of the room soon but for now the opposite half of the living room has been occupied by my daughters boyfriend who has been staying with us for the past 7 or so weeks until his apartment is ready for him to move into, and so the couch is usually made up for him to sleep on! Here is a photo of the current living room just as we found it, a small room just off the entry of the house with a nice marble and wood fireplace surround, hard wood floors, beautiful crown mouldi
Oh yes!! I must dig out my flannel shirt. You have reminded me! Thanks for sharing at Home Sweet Home!
ReplyDeleteYes, indeed! One of my favorite months as it ushers in my favorite season! Beautiful post, Nancy.
ReplyDeleteYes! Beautiful shared images, Nancy. Enjoy October!
ReplyDeleteNancy, I have a suggestion for you, and instead of just wishing and not saying anything, I'm just going to dive in.Since your blog is all about transferware and transferware is definitely a decor thing, I would love for you to blog more about using transferware in our homes as decor. You are so good at this; I've seen pictures of your old home and new home, and I'm just blown away at some of the ways you have used your transferware. I would certainly like to learn more and maybe there are others. I know I love your recipes to blog about and your color choices for your home are my taste also. So maybe I could make this suggestion?
ReplyDeleteOh, yes, I love Octobers! And I enjoyed your beautiful photos of this wonderful time of year. I'm waiting for the fall color around here, we have just finally gotten a taste of cooler weather but the leaves are slow to turn this year.
ReplyDeleteYES, YES, YES! Beautiful photos Nancy.
